| Victoria Azarenka works hard to comeback |
“Don’t call it a comeback” is a hashtag always used by Victoria Azarenka, who is now officially set to return to tennis at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford.
The Premier-level tournament, which Vika won in 2010, starts on July 31st, so the Belarusian’s resumption of tennis career will begin just seven months after her childbirth.
Now a proud mother of son Leo, the former world number one is excited to get back to competition:
Becoming a mother has been the most rewarding thing that has ever happened to me and really puts things in perspective. I am looking forward to beginning this new stage of my career.
Two weeks ago I told you that Vika would make a US Open Series return and that her plan is to be better than ever. I have no doubts that Vika will disturb the WTA draws!
